Domaining.com BackFlops

31

December

This is a follow up: After I wrote this Domaining.com Decides to restore your account and give it to you for free. Why? because they seen the loss that they was taking. Just wanted to inform everyone you will get a newsletter.

When I woke up this morning I check my e-mail and found another email from the all popular Domaining.com. It said Your “Domaining.com account has been closed” I opened it and come to find out. Domaining.com will be charging $35/year to get the newsletter. Which kinda sucks cause I am not paying that.

The newletter s helpful but I will just search each blog they had listed and get the RSS or a newletter from them. I already have other Newsletters coming my way. So I still get the same information for free.

They are just trying to make a check and I think its wrong, where has all the morals gone when domaining. Flipping a domain is fine, but chargeing to get newsletter and have an account at Domaining.com the only thing I used at domaining.com was the newsletter.

With that said Good Luck to anyone that pays the 35 bucks.

High Domains

31

December

Recently google released the new pagerank for everyones site. Well with that come some saddness or good happyness, For me it was sadness. DnWords Dropped pagerank while my Host, ViseHost is now pagerank 1. I don’t understand why, DnWords has more backlinks, more traffic and more everything then it did 2 1/2 months ago. While visehost only has about 8 backlinks.

This leaves me with one solution, Google is stange with the acception that I do not know how google PR works. But with the New Design, Upgrade and all. I think We will go up in Pr again on the next pr update.

So with that said you need to go check your domains and see if you are happy or sad or none of them moved. You can leave linked domains here that got pr or the ones that dropped pr.

Thanks

Hostix

The party kicked off with music from Radio NamePros and kept going all 12 long, Many new people joined in the chat just t chill and have a good time. There was also a live voice chat available and user gathered in there with mics to talk without typing.

There was drawing and raffles going on al day/night long. Prizes included domains, hosting, custom work, links, NP and more. NPQueen kept the party alive by chatting all 12 hour of it and doing shout outs on the radio.

NamePros Down

09

December

About 1 Hour ago Namepros.com, One of the largest Domaining Forums on the net, went down. First, users started to get Database errors and then the entire server went down for about 30-45 mins then it started coming back up. At first when it came back up there was only about 40 member on the forum and I was the only one in chat for a few minutes.

NamePros is back up now and you might get a database error which can be fixed with a refresh of the screen.

This is a Quote from RJ the owner of NamePros, when the accident happened.

The private network went down in server room 1, so our two servers cannot communicate. Hopefully the techs bring it back up soon.

Stay Tuned for more info.

Profits with Domains

06

December

When you buy a domain, if you are a reseller then you main goal is to resell the domain and make extra money to buy new domains and flip them for more money. This is a process many resellers goes through and some are very good at it. But How did the become good at it.

Some say its all in time and learning the tricks of the trade, some may say they got lucky and hit the jackpot. I fear if you are one who says this you are wrong. You can have a crappy domain and still sell it for more then the real value should be when you sell it. The value of a domain is no determined always by what you put on the site, How much content it is, quality either. Sometime Keywords sell a domain others not so much.

Let me ask you a question, How did google become so big in the quest to become to best? Easy they started work and doing more to get the name out to the public. Yes, I said it, advertisement sells a domain. If you only list your domain at 1 site for sale then you will get bad offers and results back. but If you advertise the domain around get some back links over time and maybe put a website on it for some time just to have content and spiders indexing your site. Your domain will do better in the sell process vs buy it wait 1-2 week and resell. If you hold that domain for 3 months and activity promote the domain the website and post it for sale at more then 1-2 sites, Your offer will be higher, your success will be higher and people will start to recognize you as a long term developer seller. you will gain friends that want to know how you do it. You will gain independence. Your money will be better spent. Domaining for the most part is not a get rich fast scheme. yes, some have became billionaires overnight. But unfortuantly your fate will not be the same because the domain that sell high are mostly over sold or taken for the moment.

How to Profit from a Domain the most?

Buy 1 develope it over atleast 3 months.

Advertise it for sell over many networks instead of just 1-2

Start doing this on a regular basis and your profits will be higher then what you are loosing.

Don’t be afraid to register more then 1 domain at a time, but develope 1 at a time.

Have unique content on the site and let Google make your profit higher.

Don’t sell on the first offers, leave open on the market for a few weeks and see your offers. Your not in a hurry to sell. Keep Developing the website and domain.

Good Luck and Have fun, get paid.
