Get Everyone On Board Online

31

July

Have you ever had to do a project with someone who is in another city, state, or even country? While conference calls are a natural part of any business, it just isn’t convenient for sharing information, or communicating long term. Email is also difficult, as new files have to be made and sent back.

But you can do an online project that will simplify the process, while offering you a way to keep any mistakes to a minimum. But those are only a few of the benefits of using an Internet format for your project.

When you use an online document collaboration, you will be giving access to all members of the group that are working on the idea. You will be able to see their changes, additions, and share any relevant information needed in a visual and complete way.

But this isn’t only a convenient way of creating the project. It is also a creative way of storing and viewing it. You can create an entire online document library, which will store all relevant data, graphs, or anything else you may need to show off your teams work.

This makes it much simpler to perform a presentation. It also allows for a mass presentation to different offices at the same time, so that each person involved can explain the results to their respective staff. All of this just by logging onto the project document storage page, and playing it from there.

These programs have plenty of tools to allow you to create just what you need, and in a simple way for all of your team members to contribute, whether they are in the next cubicle, or in the next country.

Don’t struggle to stay on the same page, only to face a scramble to cover mistakes later. The benefits of online document collaboration speaks for itself.

Disney and Asus Release Kid-Centric Netbook

03

July

Disney and Asus have announced that they will be shipping out a kid-friendly version of Asus’s netbook line in late July.  It will keep true to the netbook idea, as it will be small and will include Wi-Fi, but it will be built a little tougher, in order to handle the abuse that kids subject their electronics to.  There will be a spill proof keyboard, and built in kid friendly applications, plus a customizable Disney interface.  their will also be included parental controls, such as a timer, and approved website database.

There will be two flavors of this mini laptop for kids, a “Princess Pink”, and “Magic Blue”, obviously, one for boys, and one for girls.  Just because this device is geared towards kids, it doesn come prepared to actually perform daily functions that anyone would due.  It comes iwth 1 GB of RAM, and Windows XP.  There is also a built in Webcam.  It is also compatable with many types of media, with 3 USB ports, and an SD/MMC card reader.  The only downside, is that, being a netbook, there is no built in CD or DVD drive, so a portable one must be used, or CD files must be transferred to a USB drive or media card before yuse on the netbook.  Weighing in at $350, it will be by no means a cheap gift for your child, but it is worth the money, as it is a real computer by all standards.
