Rambo (2008)

After two decades, Sylvester Stallone is back to the big screen as John Rambo, one of the most memorable action heroes to ever grace the silver screen. If you loved the first films then you just may like this newest entry because Stallone certainly has not slowed down a bit from his glory days in the 1980s. This is surprising since Stallone was hardly a young man during the first three films.
One major change from the past movies is that this Rambo (also known as Rambo IV) is far more gruesome and violent than any of the previous films. The mayhem is a lot more intense and there’s a body count of well over 200. You can expect this saga to be gory, but with this 2008 addition there’s several times the utter destruction than any of the past Rambo films have contained.
If you would like to see Rambo stomp through Burma blasting his way through the Burmese army who have been slaughtering innocent villagers, this is definitely a great flick. It’s a very nice way to wrap up the series once and for all before anyone else gets a chance to ruin it. There’s plenty of emotion and more than enough incredibly intense action to make it a great way to spend an hour and a half.
